When your mind is distracted let go of the distraction calm your mind , relax the attention come back to the object of meditation @ 20 min point

when a distraction occurs buddha also recommands to focus on a image that brings joy and to come back to your meditation object s ... see SN 47.10 In clear Buddha recommand an active action when disctracted notr a simple noting ... so the relaxing is pretty close ... whatever relaxes you brings joy in your heart again is good

watch the rising and fading away of objects ^^ the rising and fading away of the six sense consciouness ... can t do that in samatha jhanas ... thank you sir for teaching the way as taught by buddha and not by the commentaries > written by a monk who did not practice meditation much

the biggest misunderstanding comes from the concentration of the mind part > don t follow the nimittas which appears when the faculties are unbalanced or you ll go into samatha jhanas > we want vipassana jhanas :)
