MN Model D90 Land Rover Defender: Dirt Cheap

MN Model is a new Chinese player on the RC market. Their first model is a really nice, 1/12 scale Land Rover D90 Defender. It is available as an RTR and as a kit version.

I have the fayee fy003. Maybe I'm not right but did you mentioned in the video that your battery lasted over 1hr? If yes I would like to get the same battery can you comment on the name below or link that I can order it from?

Suspension could be better. Are the shocks of a standard size? Would be nice to replace them with oil-filled shocks.

I know. I have already replaced the rear shocks with oil filled WLtoys A959 shocks. No rework is required. Video will follow.

Besides the brass pinion, did you upgrade any other parts? I heard the gearbox and the drive shaft tend to slip.

The steel axles were slipping in the small bevel gear. So I replaced them with brass pinions with integrated shaft. The prop shaft was secured with super glue on the brass shaft. No issues with the gearbox shaft so far. I may replace the entire drive train with WPL metal parts later on.

It does not have a two speed gearbox, but yes, it can

VENIERI.PRO With that motor if he slows down like a Rockcrawler the motor will burn out it’s not designed for rock crawling so no it can’t rock Very well until it gets up 2 speed transmission like the ones in my video

It's the kit version in stock condition. Except the small brass bevel gears from a WPL B36
