+tvittori Dude it's a team sport. If one man can take a shitty team and make it champions then it's a clear lack of quality in that time. I'm not saying Maradona wasn't great lol. But i really doubt he would be the player he was in our times. Look at Messi and Ronaldo, 2 fucking godly machines and they still sometimes can go missing from time to time because teams are way more tactical now ; better prepared physically, mentally, tactically and the players have huge paychecks. Don't forget how easy it is to see matches of the next opponent and study them, position by position , when they overlap , how the pass, the pressing they do. So yeah, Maradona was great but i really doubt he could achieve today what he achieved back then.

When I was 8, my dad showed me this video. At that time I was not interested in football or even considered watching it. But I fell in love with Maradona after watching it. He became my idol and the reason for my love towards the sport. I watched this video at least 3 times a day for months. Sad that now i am back watching this 7 years later and after his death.... Negli anni 80 e 90 la serie A era il miglior campionato del mondo, oggi si puo' discutere se sia meglio la premier league o la liga ma a quei tempi non c'era discussione, il campionato italiano era anni luce il migliore del mondo e tutti i migliori giocavano in Italia. Maradona vinse due scudetti e uno contro una delle piu' grandi squadre di sempre, il Milan di Sacchi. La coppa UEFA aveva poco da invidiare alla coppa campioni, per certi versi era anche piu' difficile, c'erano tutte le prime classificate dei campionati, per certi versi equivale all'attuale champions league. Il mondiale l'ha vinto da solo. L'unico limite di Maradona è stato mentale, se avesse avuto piu' testa avrebbe avuto una carriera sicuramente piu' lunga ma questo non offusca il suo genio calcistico, il piu' grande di sempre.
