Bailey (Tibetan Mastiff) Boot Camp Level III. Dog Training Minnesota

Bailey (Tibetan Mastiff) completed the Neuman K-9 Academy Boot Camp for dogs. This program covered advanced obedience commands to sit, stay, down, heel, come when called (off-leash), confidence building, distraction proofing, and general etiquette like waiting at doors until released and no jumping up. She also learned how to run on the treadmill and jump into a vehicle on command.
Our Minnesota dog training camp provides programs for the Tibetan Mastiff such as boot camp, obedience training, and puppy camp.

i wish my TM is this well trained. She's stubborn, has low food drive, and not very willing to learn. but a sweetheart nonetheless.

People here in China should see this. Tibetan Mastiffs are by nature stubborn and in many cases dangerous. At least that's what they say: if cannot be trained. I never believed it, and now I see this and I wish K9 was in China too! I've trained my dogs with K9's method. A Beagle and a Vizsla, now I'm training a Doberman pup. K9's method is solid and real life based. Dogs learn to live by human rules. You see, for smaller breeds, it's not a real issue if the dog isn't trained. At least that's what most think. But if you're walking around with a big dog (at least in China) and/or a breed that has a bad rap, you will get in trouble if the dog isn't polite. My beagle and Vizsla are role models of all pet owners here in my neighborhood. Soon my Dobie will be too. I thank K-9 for these videos. You didn't turn the dog into a robot. You turned her into an animal that understand how the human world works and who can now have a full life with her human family. Keep up the good work guys!

He doesn't look fat to me. By how well his dogs are trained and the time he puts in to them I'm sure he is an uneducated owner. There is nothing wrong with his dog working on a treadmill.

WARNING Tibetan Mastiff puppies should not be jumping in and out of vans or being made to run on treadmills. You will injure their growth plates! I do not recommend this trainer! Is ignorant!

You're ignorant. That dog was jogging at best on a treadmill, and see the lose lead? Yeah, not really being forced. Not only that but bigger dogs need excersize you dolt

Interesting. I would be interested to know how old this dog is. She looks young and SHOULD NOT BE MADE TO RUN A TREADMILL. Tibetan Mastiffs should have only the exercise they tolerate until their growth plates close which is around 14 months old. I doubt you used positive reinforcement with this dog. She was not responsive in anyway to your praise after release. While Tibetan Mastiffs can learn, they become bored very easily. Poor Bailey had no joy in going through your "paces". None of this training will transfer to home. Respect, trust, joy are what make a TM respond willingly and happily to its owners request... even when they see no point. You website talks about what you will train, but not how you will train. Buyer beware of this expensive training that is probably aversion and punishment. These methods ruin a dog.
