Its been more than a year since Kingdom but I still believe SF9 should have ranked higher than no 6. This whole stage has a storyline, elegance and feels like a music video by itself. Ranking last is such a disrespect to the hard work they put in this performance and stage. Honestly this stage feels more like a finale stage than half of the performance in the final round. No disrespect to others but this should have definitely ranked higher

*SF9 did have a lot of references from their previous performances in this one.* -HY kneeled down in front of TY in Jealous - now the opposite -TY, DW, JY, ZH dancing at mirrors in jealous -IS’s (dont wanna be stopping part) standing by mirrors with dancers grabbing him (Jealous) -CN & YB dance part, they also did that in Good Guy -YB rejected the chessboard (represents competition) and crown (glory of winning) [from The Stealer] but accepted the gem (representing SF9) [from Good Guy] -CN’s solo dance part - reference from his part in Jealous with a female dancer but this time he’s alone -TY and HY’s part with human trees - reference from DW’s part in Move -JY went up the stairs in Jealous (to jump) - now HY went down the stairs -TY reaching out for the big mirror in Jealous - now JY is -DW walking between 2 lines of ppl, similar in Jealous -RW got stabbed by IS - reference from HY got stabbed in The Stealer -though RW got stabbed, he still helped IS got up - meaning Msnake treated SF9 as shit but they still show effort for the show -in Jealous and Move they were breathing in (exhaling slightly) - in here they breathed out/ exhaled heavily (meaning they are releasing all the stress and pressure and that they are done with kingdom) -HY checked his watch, same like in Good Guy -in The Stealer, RW was the 1st to sing, here RW is the last one -in the ending of Believer, they all turn their back to walk back. the position is the same as the intro of Good Guy where they walked forward: HY-JY-CN-TY-YB-ZH-DW-IS, except in RW is now in the center (in Good Guy he couldn’t participate) also, one other thing I found out is that if you count, SF9 referenced a lot of details from Jealous. It's the one that got pretty much the lowest ranking out of all the others. I feel like they did this because Believer is the final, and they showed us how they have grown and changed from that performance. I gathered the information and details from a lot of Fantasies on Twitter, some of them I spotted myself. Feel free to add anything that you spotted! p.s: I might have some inaccuracy, so please correct me if I'm wrong! Feel free to bring repost my comment too!

i think 'believer' is a summary of all sf9's performances in kingdom. it's still the same crystal when they performed 'good guy', then taeyang and hwiyoung's intro was exactly like their 'jealous' stage. youngbin didn't choose the crown or the chessboard which was the property when they performed 'the stealer' (i like how youngbin rejects both and chooses crystal which is likened to sf9), and finally the same human trees when they performed 'move'. fantasy has supported them this far, let's just enjoy this magical performance. sf9 and fantasy has done its best!

I just realise this performance concept includes reminisces of all their previous performances! You can see Hwiyoung looking at his watch towards the end from The Good Guy; Taeyang and Hwiyoung's duet from Jealous; Their group dance reminds me of the Stealer; and of course the human trees from Move. Yes! Plus the reverse inseong here with the hands just like in Jealous and the way they walked out like models which was how they walked in in their 1st performance. I think even their positions in line are the same with the addition of Rowoon in the middle. The prop youngbin took here that symbolizes fantasy is the same one Inseong used in the 1st performance too. I'm so happy you caught the details too!

The ending hits hard, you know what i mean? Like when they ended the song with "i will never surrender wake up it's new start" they turned back and walked out gracefully like a prince. Its like they say rank doesnt matter as long as they are not losing themselves and turning their back to the whole show and walking out of the stage coolly. Tbh this is the most elegant and graceful stage out of the whole show. I like them keep their own colour rather than going for the loud and powerful bg trends nowadays and thats what makes them stand out. Glad to discover them thru kingdom. P.s. while i rewatched i'm noticing in the end hwiyoung did gesture like checking at his watch. Thats exactly what he did in the most opening part in the intro stage. Personally this is one of the best songs from Kingdom. The way that every fiber of the melody makes you feel relax yet making you feel excited. It’s just my personal opinion but I feel like boy groups from nowadays are heavily focused on making songs that are too noise based and especially watching this show and it does show, but with SF9 being one of the few that actually showed a different side to them and different sound. All groups did amazingly well. But something SF9 did that made it abit better

Why did they choose this song? (I became a Fantasy a couple months before Tear Drop so I'm still getting to know things. There's literally so many references to their past kingdom performances hidden within this master piece, the fact that the colour of the props are Fantasy's colour... all of this felt like a big hug to Fantasy. The boys have all done such a great job working hard on this with all their other schedules, I just want to thank them for their hard work.
