Reason why Taeyeon and Wiz didn't collaborate: MAMA did not have the MR version of the song. Apparently MAMA is telling two stories to Taeyeon and Wiz Khalifa. (Posting this comment again after a thread) I would also like to speak about Wiz Khalifa saying she lied. Obviously you can see I'm very biased toward Tae and SNSD, and people might think I'm protecting her just because I'm her fan, but I really think this isn't her fault. Wiz and his DJ have changed their story so many times, his DJ tweeting, "... and she said she went back to the hotel." and later deleted that tweet and had the audacity to ask, "where did I say she (went back to the) hotel?", and Wiz saying "She claimed she had to go the the hospital the night before." And of course, Taeyeon replies back on her IG story, "I didn't go to the hospital.. I said I'm washing up now after waiting for you." and the video is of her posted that night at 1AM, as proof she was there that night instead of the hospital Wiz said she said she was. AND OF TOP OF THIS LONG PARAGRAPH, remember Taeyeon retaliated. She would never say anything back if it wasn't true, you know how K-media works, if she's caught lying after all this drama she's done for, but she defended herself. That is all I have left to say. Apparently she was supposed to sing 'SEE YOU AGAIN'. But Wiz khalifa (and his DJ) had been tweeting about her pulling out last minute. So, you can't really blame Mnet this time... Seriously, he performed right after her... (they also did rehearsals together) so even as non fan I expected them to collab. Currently fans are mad about Wiz being upset. But honestly, it's a weird situation. I don't know what went down, but like Ailee was there... Dean too.... And a lot of other singers who would've loved to perform with him. So, it must have been really really last minute. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but as a non fan and non hater the only thing I can think of that she got like really nervous or insecure about the stage. If she is a perfectionist, I could totally relate to her for example freaking out and cancel the thing. But that's just me. I don't know her personality. I just listened to her solo songs. (TAEYEON made a statement!!! Don't mind my comment please. F*CK MNET btw and those who couldn't get their sh!t together before the rehearsals/performance)

She posted her statement on instagram, [TRANS] Many people are curious about the stage yesterday so I'll explain it now (I'm also very curois) Yesterday I greeted Wiz Khalifa and, rehearsed with him and prepared (for the performance) with high expectation. But suddenly when it was broadcasting, I heard there was something wrong with the sound system, That's why I couldn't do my soundcheck properly and I could not be on stage with him. It was such a pity. I needed MR not AR for the live performance but it wasn't prepared. I was a bit nervous having to come on stage and perform because the collab was meaningful. To be honest chances like this do not come often ^^ So I thought that if I had sung louder than AR would it have been able to solved the problem kekeke The staff did their best to create a great performance...So I decided to sing live. But suddenly before the performance started about a few hours, I heard that the performance would be canceled. We were performing overseas so there were some unexpected problems. I heard that there were problems with the equipments the day before when I was rehearsing on the stage. I waited for the rehearsal with Wiz Khalifa and I returned to my hotel. Maybe something serious happened. It was a pity that I could not bring you a great stage. I hope there are no misunderstandings. And I will greet people who waited for the performance with a better stage next time. Thank you everyone for supporting me till the end yesterday. Cr. @_crystaljo
