Bobby gave him the chance to show who he really is as a rapper. In all honesty, I saw Mino and Bobby's style when he was rapping. I hope he gets to create his own music someday.

So originaly, Bobby doesn't really like to participate in this rap unit, like when he was asked about it he said, "What, rap again? he's tired coz he has done so many rap competition and all, so he wants Chanu to join for fun, but after seeing these two, Hwiyoung and Sunwoo, listening to them, their eagerness and passion to win, he change his mind and worked hard for the two. iKONICs understand this attitude of Bobby, but knowing someone new, not really close since they just knew each other in this competition made Bobby change his mind is somehow amazing for us like, maybe he saw something from these two that made his lazy ass work hard to help them make this performance. I think the culture of KPOP and hip-hop are just inherently different. I agree on a rap show, this song would've won or, at least, would have had a much much bigger chance to win (it eventually charted better than Mayfly, too, didn't it?) but on Kingdom, Mayfly happened to have a bigger chance to win. When someone is winning, another is losing, there's no way around it. Like, during their sprint relay, Chan suddenly ended up winning the 2nd place. Perhaps, it's because Chan somehow got lucky. Perhaps, he got to run faster the very last seconds. Perhaps, it's because Sangyeon slipped. Perhaps, if Sangyeon had not slipped, The Boyz could have won the 2nd place. Perhaps, even if Sangyeon had not slipped, SKZ still had won the 2nd place. We will never know for sure... Well, I did wish professional rappers had been there to judge the rap performances specifically, but the fact that those who came to become judges that day ended up preferring Mayfly's performance, it's just a part of luck.

The fact that Sunwoo actually auditioned to be a singer and not a rapper but then he also found out that he's a really talented rapper. There's nothing that Sunwoo can't do and this is why he's an all rounder idol. This collab was ICONIC periodt!!!! Also their chemistry was AMAZING, they looked so comfortable with each other and you can see that they really had fun while performing together. They didn't need a choreography or fancy props to impress others, they prove their talents and themselves as artists and rappers.

I was rooting for SKZ on Kingdom but this unit should have won over Mayfly just based on their rap execution alone. The title wordplay, the catchy hook and the flow of all three rappers were on point. Sunwoo’s energy here is unbeatable and you can tell that he’s so happy to be performing with Bobby. He took Bobby’s advice to go crazy, have fun and played with the camera at 2:19. Sunwoo as a fan to calling Bobby hyung was so endearing to see because he so looks up to him as a rapper. “3 stars, astronomical” is a fucking great punchline. Such a shame they didn’t win.

You can clearly see that all three have fun while performing, that's the real performer. It doesn't necessary how much you make your stage colorful and artistic the audience will feel it if you enjoy or not. At the end of the day, they will feel the lack, emptiness, and how trying hard you are. Just perform on your own, people will feel it. Don't try to impress. @@sofiaandrea6009 actually 2/3 of the so called expert judges (aka rookie groups) are fans of SKZ, one of them even wrote in the evaluation paper that he/she is a SKZ fan, a leader of another group wrote "Jinjja!! Daebak!!" in a banner, girl forgot to bring her lightstick, and most of them didn't evaluate the rap itself as most of them said "the props were amazing and the dance steps were cool" lol there's an entire dance unit for the dance steps and those kids included dance steps for their evaluation in the rap unit lmao 😂😂

Edit: alright so what i meant about this not being a rap competition is pretty clear, this is kingdom not smtm, they will look into the story telling (using props), visuals, and the impact of each performance more than the rapping it self. And about the other two rappers, im sorry if i sounded like i was disrespecting them, didnt mean to but u cant say that the tbz and the sf9 guys is better than the other team, i would say sunwoo and hongjoong are on the same level (kind of) but they just dont stand a chance against 3racha which also pretty much carried the other performance.
