I think part of what makes Mamamoo so amazing as a group and as performers is their ability to express their emotions through their song. Whether it be happiness, anger or sadness, their eyes, gestures and expressions are so emotive! Easily seen through their Immortal Song performances and festivals, but this performance was on another level for me. I much prefer Moonbyul's live rap here, even though I already loved it in the audio, because again of how she expressed it. Mamamoo jjang

Watched Queendom before this one and damn, Wheein really grew as a vocalist in the past yrs her runs have gone smoother, slay girl. I came here after watching the 2019 vers in Queendom and Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook and reading comments that you can tell how much they’re continually improving through this song and ohmygosh THEY ARE RIGHT. I already thought this version was good but daaaamn those 2019 versions are something else. I’m so happy I stan talented, continuously improving queens 😭

I'm so happy that they got recognized, they are super talented, and somehow as kpop fans I know how talent isn't really appreciated ..I mean look at spica, they just fall to the slump 😢

yeah i know. you need not only talented, but also have to be unique. finding ur niche. hyori said that to spica in their show, at that time i didn't think it was a fair thing to say to them, since spica is no doubt talented, and i actually like their pre-tonight songs. but after i saw mamamoo, i know what hyori means now. mamamoo not only has talent, but they're also unique. they work their retro concept well. their perfomances are always fun to watch. they don't hold back. personality-wise they're also entertaining. and their teamwork is great.

At first time I attracted with mamamoo cos hwasa voice so jazzy never heard voice like that in kpop (in asia jazz genre get underrate under pop genre) I thought they are so brave to take uncommon genre to kpop thats the reason I like them. And for spica I try to listen their song but their style like common kpop (pop song and sexy concept)

A lot of it is luck and whatever teenage kids in S.Korea like this month. Unfortunately just talent isn't enough. (Although radish light sticks have got to help a LOT!)
