I hope people realize how influential this song is. This song propelled NCT’s popularity, and was an extremely strong foundation for NCT 2020. I’m glad SM took advantage of this song’s success and continued promoting NCT for almost the rest of the year. Before Kick It was released, NCT was seen by most kpop fans as that one group with a weird-ass concept that you would occasionally listen to. Now, people see NCT as one of the leaders of kpop. Ikr. They really grew so big this year. Like damn a million seller unit (NCT 127), a double million sellers for 2 albums (resonance 1 & 2), A Daesang, multiple awards, 25 million views in 24 hours and 100 million views in 1 month for Make A Wish. Like wow! Especially the fact that we are named the lazy ass fandom in streaming and voting. Imagine the records they hold if the pandemic wasn't even a thing. They would have went on a lot of tours with all members and sold more albums. They will get bigger next year.

I could even remember last year I saw a lot of videos both from Kpop fans and musicians saying that NCT is SM's biggest failure because they were not winning awards back then and when they have one that means they are lucky enough to be in SM and benefit from the "Big3" privilege card, that they were not half as talented and as popular as EXO. But now look at them, I mean having plenty of members is actuallt an advantage to them, except the fact that they are unique from other boygroups for such reason, they also take turns with comebacks while others may relax and prepare for another comeback. I mean no boygroup in the industry can do one comeback after another and with varying concepts. Only NCT.

And sometimes they remind me of a penny , one sec they'll be calling them "failures" next they'll be praising how good their latest hit was. I also noticed that many would compare them to their previous seniors , like back when EXO debuted , they were also mocked and called failures of SM and called talentless unlike their seniors Super Junior. Then now with NCT , they have also been harshly mocked and called failed "clones" of EXO. But what many should start realising is if you mess with SM groups , they come back stronger. Like how EXO became one of the largest influences in Kpop and still are , while NCT is also making history of their own. Just wait and see what these ever growing and expanding group can bring to the future of Kpop.
