Can we talk about Miya rapping a whole verse and singing?! Damn, this title track deserves to go viral and win an award. I'm loving this GWSN era. Praise this agency for keeping them together through the pandemic and giving us a CB that's more mature, but still very much GWSN. Please give this group more recognition. It's the beginning of the song for me, from Anne to Miya and Seoryoung to Lena. The contrast in their voices was beautifully used, and maybe I'll now be able to distinguish Seoryoung and Lena more clearly in their past albums because of it. Honestly, this song might have made everyone's voices distinguishable from each other. Forgive me, I'm not a Groo even though I've known of them since 2019 with Pinky Star. I am happy Soso is back performing with them because she's who I first noticed back in 2019 and to not have her on an album felt weird even though I've only watched stages and nothing else from them. They all sound so great on this song that it's difficult to push Soso more lines agenda, but I was really feeling it after I watched this for the first time since I didn't see her as often as the others because of the difference in lines and her position in the choreography. "Red-Sun (021)" era is the goal with her getting not JUST ad-libs (and a LOT of them) but also some legit lines. At least with this song she had a distinct part that was no one else's, though I wonder what it would've sounded like with her getting a "la la la like it hot" part. Anyway, I'm here 6 days before the mini album's release anniversary since I hadn't even listened or watched a performance of this title track until today. I want to check out their next comeback more quickly than this time. These girls were doing interesting things even in their debut year and they deserve better than their company.
