There’s a couple of negative comments here but this is the stuff a serious language learner loves. Thank you, I’ld rather learn the right way to speak than sound like an idiot. And I exactly understood the differences

Wow a nice training vocabulary, it's funny because my mind has, for now, a delay likely of 3 seconds to remember each word so I need to return 5s after every 10s 😂, these words is so different, my native language is portuguese so if russian has a simillar word is because is also in english (1% of total). Russian is very defiant and I like that. Nice video thank you.

1:27 Нет, не можем, у нас есть ещё 10 минут. - shouldn't this translate to "no, we won't [be late], we still have 10 minutes" instead of "no, we can't"? Though I guess `can't` is the literal translation.
@yuutek41652 ай бұрын
Yes, in English “won’t” would sound more natural. But here since he replies to Marina’s sentence, it’s more likely that he uses the same verb. And «мы не опоздаем»(we won’t be late) for some reason sounds more direct and certain, I guess.. while “не можем» means more like “if we take into account only things we know and can assume, we can’t be late since we have 10 minutes left”, at least that’s my perception

Too fast for learners, you need to slow down so we can have a look at the subtitles and compare at least. It is like watching a TV speaker.

Why when President Putin speaks Russian sounds soft and easy, but when normal Russians speak it seems hard on the tongue and tough.!!!

Don’t give up! It took me four months to learn the alphabet and two months to learn how to say здравствуйте. If you have any Slavic community where you live, go to their grocery stores or churches. Get an on-line tutor

@caroltenge5147 I have been studying almost daily for 2.5 years and am only intermediate (barely)-but every few weeks I get a new expansion of comprehension where I suddenly just "get it" a little more. It's "a journey" as they say. Just stick with it. It takes children years to master their native language, too.

There is no need for the Russian letters.. It should be written in English letters... And maybe when we get to advanced level we can learn the Russian one... Can you try that and see what the viewers think?

The way the Russian sounds would be unnatural if it's written by Latin letters.
