I’d love to see Mo Pitney win best new artist at the Country Music Awards. He’s the best new singer who can really sing classic country and is keeping it country!

It's going to take people like Mo to smash New Hot Country and into the ground and bury it. Real country can and needs to come back to radio, such performers as Randy Travis, George Straight, and Alan Jackson did in the late eighties. Thank God for youtube.

Man I've been in those shoes and bumped into an ex girlfriend before. Don't care who you are, there's nothing like a country song sad or happy. Songs like this have substance and feeling, which is what I miss in a real country song! I know Mo doesn't read the comments on here, but thanks for sticking to your guts and playing real country.
@darinaadland52266 жыл бұрын
I grew up listening to oldies and Merle Haggard and Waylon that my older brother used to play a lot and then as a teenager I got into punk rock and early alternative music. This young man came and played in my hometown just a few weeks ago and I was blown away by his sincerity, his guitar playing, and how much of a great singer he is. I wouldn't say I'm in to country a lot but I do have an appreciation for music and talent and this kid has it!

Mo has been around a few years, and he is GREAT. So is Teea Goans. Too bad country radio can't get with the program. I don't even listen to country radio anymore. All the songs sound the same and it sucks. TG that there are a few like MO & Teea trying to keep real country music alive.

Ann Proctor A big part of that his him getting screwed over by his label. They’ve only released like one single a year by him since 2015. That’s a terrible business model.

But there are many artists who have very successful careers without the benefit of much airplay. Two examples are John Prine and Lucinda Williams, who coincidentally performed a few concerts together several years ago.

The most perfect music video . Some will say too sentimental. OK a bit shmalzy old country but with real meaning, a great song, everyone will connect with, if you have ever felt that way. Well done video and editing guys and you have the amazing voice of MO and his emotion and 'trills'. He knows what he is doing. An exceptional performance and video. Not surprised it got a standing ovation at the Grand Old Opry.

I heard this song last night at the Opry for the very first time.It reminded me of us and I know from his perspective I would and do feel the same way.. I could see us in the grocery store just like this -I don't know how you feel about me these days but I know how I feel about you. I have always loved you as it's taken alot of soul searching to figure out how and what I really do feel..Being a widow and loving someone else has been very hard for me to adjust to a new way of life. I felt like at times I was cheating on my late husband so I thought I'd have to shut my feelings and love off for you and make everyone happy. I found out that I'm not at all happy without you because I truly do love you with all my heart and soul. I can't live a life that keeps me from living.He would want me to be happy.He always wanted a good man who would be good to and love his girls. I know my days with you may be no longer granted to me but if there is even a slight chance you could ever want me again I would fall down on my knees and thank the God Lord Above. I do love you so much baby.
