This kid is obviously a once-in-a-generation talent. I love how he respectfully honors his predecessors, and does so with a seeming lack of ego. His covers are as good or better than the originals. He restores my faith in young folks. Keep 'er goin' Mo!!

I absolutely agree. I don’t even think that Mo knows himself , how big a talent he actually is..His voice is out of this world. I am so glad that such a pure young man has chosen to play pure old beautiful country music. I think I have been watching this video a hundred times at least and I still get goosebumps every time I see it. Just outstanding.

The first time I heard this, I'd never heard of Mo Pitney and I also didn't know this song. I just happen upon the song and the minute Mo started sitting, my jaw dropped and stayed like that the rest of the song. I sat still unable to move a muscle. I was stunned by Mo's voice. I've since listened to it hundreds of times and never tire of it.

I didn't know he had covered this song. We had this played at our wedding in West Texas in 87 and i'ts always been a favorite Hag song of the wife and I. Mo certainly brings back Pure Country. I'd say Merle would approve.
