It's been a while now since the Country music world lost Daryle Singletary and he's truly missed by those of us that love real country music ! But we can be thankful for this fact , If Daryl Singletary was one of Mo Pitney's inspirations then we can all rest assured that along with Daryle's music and many other covers and originals. We have been gifted another great singer/songwriter in Mo Pitney !

Dude, what you don’t realize is your that voice now. You have the ability as a young guy to spread country music like the lord spread the gospel! Let’s don’t let country end like a tragedy. I’m going to see Rhonda Vincent Tonight for the first time since Daryl’s passing, her an Daryle were like siblings, what people don’t know, for many years they sang together. Not just the latest album they recorded. She’s distraught as well. He will be missed tremendously by the community we call country music! Great job Mo, as usual! Carry on the tradition with your angel of a sister. She has the voice of an angel as well! I was raised by a steel guitar man as well. I know where your heart is my man! Keep it pure and keep it real! Thanks for the rendition! A great song! You done it more than justice!

Thank you Mo. Daryle had such a love for real country music, and worked hard to keep it alive. I love the song choice for your tribute. Such a great song. Daryle would be pleased. With Daryle gone now, I hope you will carry the torch to keep country music alive in the traditional sounds that have made it America's truest music. I don't think you could have chosen a better song as a tribute, much in the same way that Daryle chose songs to honor country legends. My dad was a traditional singer and musician, and he would have been proud of your choice too. Thanks again! May God bless you.

An absolutely beautiful and heartfelt performance, Mo Pitney. That song has always been a favorite of mine by Mr. Singletary. I think I own pretty much everything he recorded and I rank him right up there with my all time favorite, Mr. George Jones. I knew country music had changed for the worse when true country artists like him fell out of favor, but us real country music fans still know what the REAL sound of country is. Thank you for carrying on the true tradition of country music. During this period that the legends are passing away, it's nice to know that there are young artists out there who are willing to carry the flame into the future. THANK YOU, Mo. And might I suggest that you, as a tribute, record this song for your next album ? Keep up the good work and don't let the bastards change you.
