Busking is so much fun. As a busker, it is very honest, no one is there to hear you and if you can capture and hold their attention, maybe bring a smile to their day that is a win, and of course a tip form them is always appreciated. My daughter and I both play trumpet (easy enough to transport) and have a lot of fun with our "public sponsored practice" My daughter paid for a weekend trip that we took to Australia from New Zealand busking as well. I think the most impressive was a Kiwi guy I saw in Plymouth in the UK, he travelled the world with his full sized harp... yes harp (not on a bike). kudos to him, for me, I'll take something a lot smaller. Great video thanks. #alwayspaythebusker

Nice video, cool adventures! When I cycled around with my accordion, I found for busking the small cities working best for me, because they didn't expect music to happen there so I had mostly a small but very much appreciating audience, when I started to sing. I can imagine that this would work well for you, too, and propably they wouldn't care about your amp :) Anyway, you're doing a good job!

Hi again Eric, I'm wondering where you are now? I just wanted to tell you that I've watched , and enjoyed many of your video's. And, you've kinda inspired me to attempt an around the world bicycle tour. I've travelled alot with my bike, but absolutely not in your league . Most of my travels have been horseback. At this point in my life I feel guilty about making my horse's do all the work, hence bike touring. So, thanks so much, and I hope that one day our paths might cross . Take care. Neil.

So glad to see you on the bike again! I've got a few videos to catch up on. How is the knee holding up?
@MONKEYON2WHEELS2 жыл бұрын
So far so good, if I put my hand on my knee while cycling I can still feel it's different than before the accident and when I push too hard I can feel it also in the knee but its more a muscular/tension issue now. Could be some disbalance or I dont know...but I dont have actually an issue anymore ;)

quick frage mein freund.. how long would you take off to go from Kathmandu to Singapore? I'm thinking 3 months? I'm kind of in a good spot to do it right now what with not having a job or responsibilities and I've heard Jan-March is the best time because its dry season. Also wondering if you needed anything other than an eVisa to enter myanmar at the india border in Moreh? I heard somewhere there's another cash grab 'road permit' thing for travellers entering over land?
@MONKEYON2WHEELS2 жыл бұрын
Hmm I guess 3-4 months is perfectly doable. The issue I think will be to get into Myanmar...As much as I know is that Myanmar is closed right now for foreigners. But I'm not too sure about it so maybe make some research. In terms of season I'm not 100% sure but in march it's already getting wet near singapore. In case that right then I would move the whole journey 1 month and start in December :)

It always amazes me that they don’t want amplification anywhere.. sad 🎸🎶😩👊🏽
@MONKEYON2WHEELS4 ай бұрын
I understand the idea (to not create more noise in urban areas) but I think if the rule could be just balanced by allowing amp but to have a limit of loudness that shouldn’t be exceeded. So that at least very quiet instruments could be louder just to make it more fair and have a bit more of an acoustic radius. 🤷♂️
