Thomas was a dick in this episode. I'll never get why we're supposed to root for him. I mean, poor Whiff-he was visibly exhausted and likely in pain after having to pull all those trucks with no back engine or brake car. I know the ending was supposed to be a win for everyone, but Whiff most likely needed a good wash down and a visit to the Steamworks to make sure he didn't hurt himself pulling all the garbage cars on his own.

Oh gods, yes! You should totally do your own Rifftrains of this season! Your jokes are infinitely better than anything the series itself came up with.

I have to agree with you on the UK voices for Diesel and Whiff. In fact, I prefer Whiff's Prototype UK voice better (most notably heard in the UK version of O the Indignity).

in this episode thomas took the train by himself AFTER the whiff took the dutchess, so he did do something FOR ONCE

I kinda agree on your opinion with Diesel's voice in the UK. It's actually kinda funny, I could actually picture Tim Curry voicing him, just without helium.

At least in the old series, there was a reason for the engines doing something somebody else would do easier. For instance, All At Sea: Harold gives a reason for not taking the man to Bertie.

i take offense that the uk couldn't hire better voice actors. i mean we had ringo star. and now were stuck with 35 year olds who sound six.
