I needed this adventure today, y'all! Thanks so much. Those ancient petroglyphs are fascinating, so sad that people vandalise those places. I love walking around old structures and ghost towns too. The picture you shared of it all when it was all standing really put it all in perspective. So sad they ran out of water. We will definitely visit Utah one day, on our very long list of places to see!! Big like 64! 👽👍🏻

When I first went to Moab I saw a picture of one of these alien looking guys in the visitor center and found out where they were. It was NOT easy to find them I got lost at first and wouldn't have found them if I didn't run into a motorcycle gang going out there. Almost like they don't want you to find it.. hmm. Then the next time I went to Moab the picture in the visitor center was gone.

The petroglyphs here are awesome. I don't think we have seen a place with petroglyphs that also had Pictographs. It really does look like aligns but I think that was the head dress of the local witch doctor. My opinion stands for these large drawings and that is they are giant build boards for ancient advertisements....LOL. Only thing I can come up with for writing way up on those rocks. The old town and the graveyard were really cool. I am wondering who's going to run into a den of rattlesnakes first....you guys or us.
