on the point about rolling maps in poe2 - it could be possible there are orbs that specifically reroll map mods? IDK but if it becomes a problem it seems like an easy fix via its own currency

They've said repeatedly they want items to drop with rolls that aren't useful to you or immediately useful to you (until you reroll). So they could just go the way of making trade more crucial for you to juice the absolute most you can out of your map drops. I suspect that map drops will work similar to now so essentially meaningless post week one of any league launch.

not sure why you'd expect them to have things like magic find sorted for PoE2 when the entire economy is going to be quite different. item identity and mechanics are so contextual, how would you even test for something like that? definitely need to set expectations for PoE2 to take some time to build up and refine in the same way the original was. just cos its a prevalent issue (especially this league) in PoE1 doesn't mean it'll have the same impact in 2.

Mageblood for guaranteed 60k armour armour, divine flesh, 100 suppress, endurance charges, 4th vow, 25/25 block and most importantly defiance of destiny but there are a few more dmg reductions and immunities and phys taken as that are not as visibile by themselves but as a bundle they form a mighty, potent defence. LE crafting is more fun, while you are inexperienced in both Poe and LE. Once you get a good few hours into both games, LE crafting unfortunately becomes really one- dimensional and boring in comparison.
