A couple of years ago, my family caught a strange fish too. We took it and fed it. It didn't eat any of the food that we give them, but it's a good thing it didn't die yet. After a couple of days, we went back and brought it back. I'm so glad my family didn't keep it.

Sorry to hear for such a tragic story, It is sad when losing just anyone you love and cherish dearly, but the most important thing is that, you should never ignore what kids tells you sometimes.. Be more alert and open minded about anything and everything in life. It is a great lesson learning for those who don't listen. Yes, you did use your money to buy the food, but that doesn't mean you cook them and then waste them, that's still suffering the living things period. So sad....when i didn't have a little puppy yet, i didn't know anything about pets but after we got a puppy, i realized how much pets are value....we all should have respect and love pets as much as we can....since i got my puppy, i didn't want to kill any chicken or pig either......when you look at their eyes, they're so innocents n loving.....

This is why I don’t let my kids go finishing or go camp near a lake or river. I am too paranoid. And if they do, my kids always have life jacket on. I can’t imagine this mom’s pain.

Wow. So many people blaming the parents. It’s not their fault. Hindsight is always 20/20 they say. How were they supposed to understand and know exactly what would happen from these inconclusive supernatural clues? If it had come into their dreams to carefully explain to them what would happen if they killed those fishes then they wouldn’t have done that. Plus animals are meant for humans to hunt and eat.

Let me share you my true experience. One day my husband, his 17 years old daughter from previous marriage, and I went camping at his boss cabin in Big Bear Lake, California when we got to the cabin they needed to go shopping at a small grocery store so I stayed inside the cabin making khao piak. All of a sudden, I heard knocking bang bang bang, I looked at the door small window I saw a red color that looks like my daughter red coat so I thought it was them back home. 2 mins goes by bang bang bang, I got mad and went to the door I opened the door and my husband truck not even here. I got scared went back inside the cabin. I was rolling the noodles all a sudden I heard a door creakkkk... I felt my whole body goosebumps rising cold 🥶 I held tight to the knife and yelled whoever you are don’t come close to me I will kill you! That was in the afternoon.

That night I couldn’t sleep. My stomach was hurting and I couldn’t breathe. I was up all night til 5 am I slept 2 hours and we all woke up at 7 am. In the morning, my 17 years old daughter said to me, “mom, I had a weird dream all night. There was a little girl who came to wake me up and say let’s play on your mom tummy she have a baby inside. We came into your bedroom and jumped on your tummy. You walked out to the livingroom and we jumped on your tummy. You didn’t see us we were jumping and hanging all over you. Then I heard a big crowd talking and someone shouted, your mom is pregnant!” I told her “you crazy! Yes I was walking all over the cabin all night from the bedroom to the livingroom.” The next day I went to the store and bought a pregnancy test, yes, I’m pregnant 😬 I gave birth to a boy. Crazy story 😆

You guys are too weird, when you fish two weird looking fish you should always put it back in the water!! There were signs all over including the weird knocking but no one was there! And yet you didn’t listen or pay attention to those signs!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ My condolences but you should have paid more attention to those signs. Better yet the husband should have just put it back into the water.

Hmong are so superstitious, especially those who still believe in the old religion Animist. The first thing you need to do when on the water is put on your life vests. The first thing you need to do when hunting is put on your blaze orange vest and/or orange cap. If you leave things to chance, you'll more than likely fail. For example, when going into battle, you need to plan. Most Hmong don't plan and instead, beg and sacrifice animals to their ancestors to help them. In the end, they got owned... cuz they didn't do any planning beforehand. As the saying goes, "God help those who help themselves".
