I like the shape of triggers, the mechanical dpad looks so light and its a plus for mashing the buttons

Liquid membrane silicone supposed to have 10x lifespan then regular silcon does. Their also going be on the mobapad s1 joycons soon too.

@@VKsChannel Dpad is ruining the entire idea of smooth and quiet, high quality membrane controller. Otherwise, probably the best membrane controller I've ever had. Imagine if it had hall triggers with membrane trigger locks, and dual rumble mode like Mobapad M9-HD, without N1-HD and N1-S variants... BTW, can you recommend a really good full membrane controller that is not older 8bitdo (never had a unit with consistent dpad, it's always too hard or too oversensitive on diagonals) or PS4-PS5 controllers (wearing down real fast and aftermarket membranes sucks)?
@NoNsEnSe32118 күн бұрын
Looks extremely similar to the Mobapad Chitu which I have. Looks like they moved the back buttons closer to the grip instead of the harder to reach area on the back. The buttons on the HD are round, not flat like the Chitu. They are also membrane, not mechanical. Do not recommend the Chitu though because the firmware isn't good for PC play.

the freedom to create custom on and off music is dope, by the way is it possible to mod gamesir cyclone 2 to install a disk dpad?

Well if you can model and 3d print a disk dpad that has good quality maybe yes

@VKsChannel and i also noticed that 2 more shoulder button can be added to cyclone 2, the ergonomics is perfect to the point where it’s just feels wrong that there's no extra shoulder button

Is there misinputs on your d-pad when pressing hard one direction? I found on my unit that when i press UP, for example, too hard after first click it's pressing LEFT, but i don't do any movements and just pressing stright UP.

Not on my unit

Internals are cheap and yet the price is high 8bitdo producs are beautiful inside
Yeah I agree 8 bit do uses snes membranes for most of their controllers and those are super easy to replace and repair Even though this liquid silicone is more durable it won't last long in the hands of the heavy button mashers

picking between this and gemini, which one has a better dpad? I dont really play fps so i dont really care about the sticks too much
@MrVadimka7 күн бұрын
M6HD/S have a much better d-pad. N1 d-pad is crap for regular playing, it's much more stiff and if you overpress one directions the d-pad key presses another nearest directions. You need to press d-pad carefully and not too hard to avoid this problem, but because of its stiffness it is hard to do. Overall, I don't recommend it for playing on d-pad. Even original pro con have a better d-pad solution.

Worst rumble. It doesn't work for gameplay specific rumble. They only tried to replicate the sound, but in gameplay they aren't synced and can't keep up with the vibration. This also happens to the Mobapad M6 HD. You can see in the reddit post "Mobapad M6 HD rumble issue" on r/switch. KZbin doesn't let me post url.

I saw it I have reported it back to them and hopefully they'll fix this

from what i read issue with m6hd vibration related to handheld position only. but n1hd works only in "detached" mode, so i don't understand, why do you mention the issue here. same time i beleive VK could compare vibration itself between procon and other controllers, but don't know is it possible to show somehow vibration in video.

This looks like a cheaper version of mobapad chitu. But at least they fixed latency and include 2.4gh adapter. Not bad I guess.
@Poulusma17 күн бұрын
I think this controller is way to expensive, i bought myself an Gamesir Cyclone 2 last month for less than this controller. The cyclone 2 is cheaper and it has analog triggers which you can switch to mechanical switches and you can use it on PC, Switch, Android and iOS. Sounds like a lot of a better deal!!
@J0rdan91215 күн бұрын
There is a huge misconception about "expensive" hall effect modules, trigger locks and led lighting. It's very common these days and mass produced, not something that should be much more expensive than a good membrane buttons that requires extra circuit board space or separate small boards, nfc module and linear motors, which are also not exactly free.

@VKsChannel17 күн бұрын
@MarcMBX17 күн бұрын

Well its also in the box so if it is an error they messed up
@frankbauerful17 күн бұрын
@@VKsChannel I googled it. "Liquid Silicone Rubber" is actually a thing. But it doesn't refer to the final form being liquid. It's liquid when it is being molded, similar to injection molding. Supposedly it has superior properties.

I'm disappointed more and more with mobapad. The Huben M9, the bearings of the triggers are so bad. broken after a short time. Absolutely bad design. But the controller would be really very good. But now this one? Membrane Buttons? Seriously? It's just sad what Mobapad offers when they announce something, if you look at what others are doing in the same period of time (EasySMX, Gamesir, BigBigWon, Betop). But once again to you, successful test. Thank you very much.
