Prodigy & Havoc had to go back to Queensbridge & rebuild themselves. Their fist label dropped them. They had to reinvent themselves to get another deal. Prodigy & Havoc knew they had to elevate, & be damn near untouchable. They cameback as the Infamous.

I’ve told people that west coast started gangsta rap but east coast perfected it! The darkest, gloomiest beats to match the hardcore and relatable lyrics, Wu-Tang and Mobb Deep knew how to take street life and put it to a beat.

"You can put your whole army against my team and I guarantee you it'll be your very last time breathing". Cold blooded the way he said it. When I was born in 86 so I heard a lot of these songs when they first came out and to me it's just so crazy that these mother fucking songs are way more lit in the songs nowadays and ain't even got one cuss word in them. They put out some gangster sinister ass shit on the radio without a single cuss word that just puts these songs today to shame.
