I think this genre of drama suits Jihoon perfectly cuz we were used to him being cutesy and get to see him act to the opposite of that. He looks great with characters like Yeon Si Eun, his depressed and angry face were the best on screen lol, I loved that scene.

This is not just the typical "when the quiet kid woke up and chose violence" type of show. It has a deeper story and characters have interesting background which you can understand and relate to them. You can also see the slow yet wholesome build up of the mc's character. Jihoon playing Si Eun nailed it! First he stood up and fought back for himself, then for his friends who influenced him a lot and those who are important to him which make you hooked up with them and this show. The actors esp the main actors did great job playing their role. It was a one hell of a roller coaster ride of emotions huhuhu

Their acting in Weak Hero was phenomenal. They've got a very strong chemistry. Hyunwook has given me a Park Seo Joon vibe (in Fight For My Way) in the series. His adlibs are brilliant making his acting look natural. Jihoon deserves an award, too. He's a complete revelation in the drama. His acting elevated so much! I wish to see both of them in more dramas. Hyunwook could even be a leading man yet. ♥️

As a reader of the webtoon, after watching Class 1 and this variety show, and saw how great their chemistry off screen as well… I seriously wonder how the other actors who would played the other characters that would appear on the second season would beat Sieun-Suho (Jihoon-Hyunwook) chemistry. Their drama is one of the best drama this 2022. It's a tear jerker one so you must brace yourself, i seriously cried a lot. Park Jihoon's acting is on point. i'm totally honest when i say i was expecting NOTHING from this drama. jihoon to me was just that winking dude from produce 101. apart from his wink, i couldn't remember nothing about him. BUT BOY, I WAS SURPRISED. from episode 1 that show got me hooked! his acting was absolutely INSANE. what was this boy doing in the idol industry when he's such a good actor? it was mind-blowing. when it comes to kdramas to me, weak hero was a cultural reset, honestly. it was violent but so real, talked about so many issues and made it painfully realistic. it was amazing and i'm now a fan.

This series has becomed my fav not only of the year, but I think one of my faves ever. The plotwist and the friendships are incredibly well made. This is how you make a good series.
