What is the definition for meat animals of "lamb" versus "mutton"? This sheep looked older so what would the cut of be in age or size? I know lamb is delicious and lighter flavored than mutton, just curious.

what do you do with the organ meat like heart , liver ?
@cazek4456 жыл бұрын
Marc vachesus liver is used for cheese I think... and the heart is used for some weird dishes or something. These days the heart and the liver are most of the time thrown away since there are way cheaper ways to make cheese. And the heart is also thrown away most of the time because those foods are almost never made.

Awesome skills mate farm killed meat is the best. My dad was a pro at slaughtering, dressing & butchering meat. He butchered a mutton one time for a BBQ he was so particular about cutting the meat I think across the grain or with the grain I can't remember but it came out so tender that one of the guests argued with Dad that it was lamb & not mutton even though dad tried telling him he was the one that killed the damn thing the guy wouldn't believe it.
