7 years ago in California I did a livescan for a big police department which I never continued in the hiring proces because I got another job. Geo Cyo father is a good question actually. To my knowledge a criminal record would NOT stop someone from offering fingerprinting services. However, I am only about 99% sure of this I’d say so please contact your local government and inquire to make sure. Hope that helps!

Sid Dean the channeler sends the file to the specific department or agency and the report gets sent to the customer or client after it’s finished processing. Typically companies do charge a small channeling fee when performing this. Hope that helps!

No you can use a live scan device but it can only be for non state services 👍🏻You can perform non state services such as FINRA background checks, FBI checks, hard card printing etc

Ask Me you can but only for the following services. FBI FINRA FDLE Ink Card Printing State background checks you cannot unless you partner with the state that has the contract for Alabama which is Gemalto. You can also provide Alabama background checks through having a customer fill out the paper application and filling out your local law enforcement agency’s ORI in the correct box on the card. Kingdom Notary LLC Suprema Realscan G10 is the industry standard and best out there now. I have another video demo on that scanner if you look into my library. As for costs, it depends on the software package that comes with it but typically live scan devices from any company go for 4-7k with a lifetime software license. Hope that helps!!

Bridgett Johnson you can but you will need to be an approved channeled with that department or agency to do so. You can also partner with a company that is already a channeler and use their software to do so. Hope that helps!
