I love the woodwork BUT!! The weight of anything lifted is being held by the wench mounting bolts! The wench should have been mounted to the top NOT the side of the top post.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what mounting system you are asking about. I built it all, the only addition was casters and a winch. Are you asking about the screws and special countersink bit? Those are made by FastCap.

Need help trying to make one out of 7 3/4 x 7 3/4 x16's. Legs will be 7 ft tall each. Foot 4ft long each. Header will be 6 ft long, sit flush on top legs. Need help with supports , for the header , and the foot between legs. What type and length of screws. The support covers. I will be lifting a 5000 lb - 3 ton car , up 34 inches in the air . I can only afford wood. Can you help with engineering.

Well done,boxing in with plywood is a very good method to strengthen the assembly,my only suggestion would be,maybe the caster mounting or base 2x4 should be a u shape with 2 2x4s vertical and 1 horizontal.
