Thanks for the tour! You say you have popcorn ceilings, carpet, and this is outdated and so on....but when you work with what there is, that is when you are forced to be creative. Out of the creativity comes the real hominess, and one of a kind beauty. No one can reproduce that...it's all your own and it shows. I would rather live in a house of love than one that is from a store any day ♥️ perfectly imperfect perfection !

Loving the lime green touches on your porch and at your entryway. Your scales in the corner hutch is a nice vintage touch. Looking at your video makes me imagine entering your home smelling apple pie in the oven and a big pot of homemade soup stewing for me. And as far as the background noise.... We retired and moved to a double wide 20 years ago. We put in new carpet and painted all the rooms. I would like to have the carpet gone but have to live with what we have. You have a pretty cozy place.

I have lived in a double wide before and I know all the quirkiness they can have in structure. You and your husband have done a fabulous job in all the design choices. Love love love your kitchen. Your home is absolutely beautiful. The antiques & vintage items add so much warmth and personality❤ And a basement too😱 Funny thing...my Dad did the same thing....he put a basement under the double wide and there was a room just like yours that my mom grew plants in.

Your home is adorable. We have a little single wide summer home. My husband did alot of work to it. I just adore it!! Its so open and cozy. People have preconceived notions about them but they are easy to work on and transform. We just love it. When we first looked at it the realtor brought us through the back way of the neighborhood. We sort of turned our noses up at it since it was so plain and overgrown. We parted with the realtor and drove around only to discover the home was two houses distance to a huge lake and she never even mentioned it!!!! We immediately put an offer on it!!

I have a lot of decor too and I have a cleaning routine that makes it very easy. I set a timer and spend 5-10 minutes in each room every day. If I did the fridge area yesterday I will do the baking area today and the island tomorrow, etc... Timer goes off time to go to next room. I do zone deep cleaning as well. Everything stays clean and neat with this system and I don't feel like I'm always cleaning.
