Yes sir sometimes them clips will hold you up and then you end up breaking them at the end so this way it helps a little

U should do more videos like this about 30 min long or more. Do multiple vehicles a day. Show yourself going to get the parts, show yourself buying tools, etc. you will get a lot more viewers . If u upload every day that would be better for you. Love this channel. Wish you the best

Today I installed a new radiator in my 2001 Nissan Altima. It wasn’t that hard to do. New upper and lower hoses, tranny coolant lines. She sure loves the new radiator and antifreeze. Did it in this Ohio cold weather. Neighbors were looking at me like I was crazy. Well, us oldschool boys have done in all the elements. Love your videos. Stay warm and healthy. 👍👍

I like that you disconnect the whole harness. Professional job no back yard BS. I always loosen bottom bolts on intake brackets. Never pry I could tell you why but it’s not necessary

Commin failure in these are T.I.P.M. ( total intergrated power module, i.e. under hood fuse box). Same symptoms.

If you pop out the fuel pump fuse and let it run out of fuel you won't get fuel everywhere. Also, the brackets on the side of the upper intake don't need to be loosened or pried over, the whole intake will just tilt towards the brackets and come straight up, just an fyi.

Just found your channel. I just wanted to give you a piece of advice that if you find any older models around 99 to 04 chevy 1500 How the cluster gauge lights stop working. Check the switch, take it apart and you can look at the. Pathways on it and if you see a crack put a Soder joint across it And for the shifting display. Just check for cracked soder joint on the long connector to the Digitizer. Easy fix easy money

@3:33 I never worry about broken plastic bits. Truth is, we're actually SUPPOSED to replace those each time we unfasten them. As per ASE technical training, those are not reusable. I personally don't replace all of them. If they break, they break. Maybe I'll zip-tie, maybe I will reuse what I can. For situations where I absolutely must replace, I keep a kit of assorted plastic fasteners.

Hey Thomas always good job. I had a fuel injector job a few days ago. It was a pain. First the gasket set I got was different for I got the gasket set that said it was for the vehicle according to year make model and trim and engine size but was I different intake It was a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0L. Second it was not the dual fuel rail type it was the single plenum fuel rail type. Had a hell of a time to get injectors to line back up on while installing. But a quick question, Yesterday i spent 2 ours trying to find the starter cutoff relay for a 2005 Honda Pilot. I looked all over the vehicle checked all fuse boxes and looked at wiring diagrams and pics of where it is suppose to be but it is not located where it should be. Have you or anyone else ran into that kind of issue with a component.

While you were there you should of checked there oil cooler housing, th jk are known to leak or crack my Jeep had that issue when I got it I had no idea and after the warranty was up I found it and had to pay out of pocket for it

How do you seat them? I had trouble seating, the lower part of the injector, the one with the red O-ring it leaked fuel everywhere.

I get with the mouse damage that you took the lower intake off, could you not have replace the injectors without removing the lower?

You can replace them without removing the lower. It'll just be a bit messier.

Quick dumb question. How do you know how long a job is going to take you to do? The mechanical experiences I've had to deal with while working on my car make me think it's harder than it actually is to tell how long it will take. I've watched videos of people doing a 15 minute job and it takes me 3 hours even with the right tools. Usually some roadblock hits me like a stripped/snapped/rusty bolt that won't come out. I'm thinking of becoming a mobile mechanic myself, but anxiety makes me second guess myself. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I dont think id ever buy a jeep again. Mine practically bankrupt me when the rear axle failed. I was kinda duped.. The jeep I found was an 07 that was never winter driven so it looked like it just rolled off the factory floor. I call it the rotten apple.. You dont know till you bite into it how bad they are. I love the platforms but I prefer chevy engines and drive lines. I wish i could engine swap it but like i said, the repairs, safety, and sales tax chewed through about 12k on a 20k jeep with 100k on the odometer. Recently the egr was coding, replaced it and now it codes intermittent with egr low flow which is a different egr code than it was throwing off before.. It somehow has some kind of mystical portal that oil is disappearing because it doesn't burn oil but somehow is always way down lol.. I am honestly shocked people even buy these things.
