Mobile Modular Workbench

I am soon going to build my Journeyman's Piece. Beforehand I build a mobile, modular workbench, which will complement the sawhorses of our company. It has a 19 mm hole grid and is equiped with a vice, can be varied in size thanks to its modular construction and can be stored in a space saving way.

Ein weiteres mal bin ich überrascht uber die Qualität des Videos! Den einzigen Nachteil den ich sehe, das zeigst du ja auch im Video, das es nicht so stabil ist wie eine "richtige" Hobelbank. Ansonsten fehlt ja scheinbar nichts um seine Arbeit erledigen zu können. Großartige Arbeit!

How do you cope with the wobble due to the unsecure base? A more stable base might improve that perhaps half lapping the beams to the saw horses. It doesnt need to be permanent but might improve your user experience.

The wobble is only apparent due to the garbish saw horses I had at home. I use the Workbench mostly at Work, where we have pretty sturdy saw horses, so no more wobble. I also clamped the Beams to the saw horses, which improved stability further.

Hi, thanks for the video. I am design now the similar workbench. What may/will happens with bench top in case of season temperature changes?

Since it is one solid piece of multiplex without a separate top plate, not that much. It might swell and shrink a little, but it will not warp or bend. The layers of the multiplex wood cancel the warping of each other out.
