Great video! I have just shared it with two Facebook pages related to cruises. I have tried to explain how MPC works but your video covers everything with images, which might help some folks better than words. Your video also went over the part that did not apply to me because my entry port was also my final destination.

Toronto has MPC for international travelers coming into the US. How would I use MPC in Toronto and grab my checked luggage if my luggage will be transferred through for me back home to Minnesota?

If Im not mistaken QR code are no longer used with MPC? The app has updated - How does is then work if no QR code ? Thank you for sharing

Yes, the QR code is no longer used. Now it will just say to proceed to an officer.

If you have Global entry, no.... Use that. Mostly this was designed for those who can't get global entry cuz it's so backed up.

For some reason I did this after coming from Turks to FLL, no one asked for this after doing all this. They asked for my passport, took a pic of me and said have a good day 🤷🏽‍♀️.

You had to clear customs, so in FLL you probably did the old way and no one even realized.... Mostly needed in major airports Miami and Charlotte.

@@wandakeefer4386 oh ok. I kept looking around and I was wondering why no one else was stopping to scan the QRS code to download the app. I was assuming I was the only person that hadn’t done it. Then no one was handing over their phone. I was like….That’s weird. Glad I had it just incase. You never know. Great video by the way.

I'm going from the US to Canada by air. As an inbound to Canadian customs, does Canada use this app? I'll also be returning to the US on a cruise ship. Will that work?

We can't say for sure because we do not fly into Canada.

Noo, only Permanent Residents and U.S citizens can use MPC app, no one else as far as i know!!

If you are traveling with ESTA, you should be eligible to use MPC (www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/mobile-passport-control): "The MPC mobile app, is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, Canadian B1/B2 citizen visitors and returning Visa Waiver Program travelers with approved ESTA."

MPC states that is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, Canadian B1/B2 citizen visitors and returning Visa Waiver Program travelers with approved ESTA. There are 41 countries on Visa Waiver Program travelers Andorra Australia Austria Belgium Brunei Chile Croatia Czech Republic Denmark Estonia Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Iceland Ireland Israel Italy Japan Latvia Liechtenstein Lithuania Luxembourg Republic of Malta Monaco Netherlands New Zealand Norway Poland Portugal San Marino Singapore Slovakia Slovenia South Korea Spain Sweden Switzerland Taiwan[1] United Kingdom

Maryann when you arrive into the USA first stop example Miami turn on your wifi and then will be able to complete the process of this to get the QR Code ..

@@allseasonsvacationsllc1st of all great video, thank you for making, my question is similar - I’m flying from japan into Detroit (then connecting to orlando) so I have the information filled out in japan before I leave & then once I land in Detroit & have Wi-Fi press submit & then will get QR code??
