@@shadabahmed5295 I think this is a very standard practice, sending OTPs and they did mention in their playstore that there is no sharing of email and phone and they only collect the email for app features. I think that you should be more concerned about what other apps are doing 😂 In the apps section you can see huge amount of permissions they ask for.

Sir, some simple suggestions I would like to share. 1. We can have one dedicated SIM for all bank accounts (other then that account which is linked with UPI, and in UPI linked account we can keep less money ). Keep this SIM in non Smart phone, general old Nokia type phone. 1A. Obviously don't use mobile banking but can use internet banking on laptop. 2. Don't share this mobile number with anyone else. 3. Similarly have a dedicated email id for banks and login only when required. After use log out. 4. If you are not in business then probably no need to take call from unknown numbers even we can keep blocking spam numbers.

You have given a perfect solution. Particularly no. 4. I have been using mobile since 1996 when the tariff was ₹ 16.80/1 min outgoing and ₹ 8.40/1 min for incoming call. Since then I never pick up any unsaved phone, may it be PM or President, I give balls to it.

जी सर ने बिल्कुल सही बताया कि बैंक ऐसा कभी नहीं करता और वो ऐसी कंपनी को कॉन्ट्रैक्ट देता है कि उसका काम आसान हो जाता है लेकिन बैंक अपने कस्टमर को ही कॉल करने का permissin देता है क्यूंकि मैं भी बैंक employee hu। Thanks for knowledge.
