00 has a peaceful ending with most of the cast still alive, which is pretty rare for Gundam. Patrick really managed to marry his commander after the war, Louise survived and got back to her boyfriend even though she was enhanced and piloted a MA (young female MA pilots don't tend to end well); and even the supersoldiers, made for war since their birth (Mary and Allelujah) found peace at the end. This is truly the most hopeful Gundam show of all times.

After 15 years, this is my first time finished this series. I've been tried watched it years ago but only managed till ep7. I still remember in 2010, when this series play in tv, I took my mp3 and record the 1st opening. I've been wondering what's the hype about this series. After finished this series, on story telling, character development, I must say it's really good. No wonder many people really like this series. Now, I'm not really a big fan of beam weapon, so I would say IBO is my favorite since they used physical weapon. But I can tell you, in term of beam fight, this series kind feel like a fantasy super robot series lol I would list my top 3 gundam series: 1. Iron-Blooded Orphans 2. Gundam 00 (I have to admit this is better than Seed) 3. Gundam Seed (although this is my first ever gundam series) Thank you GUNDAMINFO for released this anime again after years it has been released. I guess they re-released this because of this upcoming new series, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury .

Along with humanity's drive to expand in space, the seed of wars should be abandoned. That's why aoelia wanted to end human wars and unite humanity before they encounter aliens. You'd know aliens are tougher, stronger, more intelligent, more advanced and move in a collective to expand and colonize. If humanity keeps on punching itself on the face and delay progress, do you think they'd have a fighting chance againts stuff like the ELS? It required them the whole participation of world federations and setsuna merging with the collective to end it. What more can they discover and encounter in the expanse of space. If people keep fighting for a place in earth, you might as well not get your participation in galactical exploits. Why do you think most gundam timelines stay in one galaxy only because they still keep on punching itself in the face. You can never move forward with a defective structure, you will lag behind and rot away in your own filth. The end game of every existence is to understand each other and become one. You are me, and I am you kind of shiet and there's no need to f each other up for the sake thrills. We move on to the next level of progress, the ethereal space beyond the expanse of our consciousness after death. Sorry this was long because I was reading some obscure book about how humanity would progress more without assholes running around and I thought I might wanna share this with some fellow humans before I forgot what I learned.

I prefer final battles of Gundam series to be in space. Edit: The battles in space feel a lot more intense, especially when grunts can be involved with fighting each other. 10년전에 봤을땐 그냥 저냥 괜찮은 건담시리즈였다라고 생각했는데 나이먹고 다시보니깐 명작이였음 1시즌 마지막에선 세츠나가 마리나한테 편지쓴거랑 2시즌 마지막엔 마리나가 세츠나에게 답장형식으로 낭독하면서 세츠나가 건덕후가된 계기가 o건담이였고 당시 0 건담의 압도적인 성능을보고 자신이 싫어하는 전쟁을 없앨려고했다가 1기 막바지의 록온때문에 각성하면서 소년병에서 이상을 쫓는 청년으로 성장했고 2기에선 죽은 록온의 의지를가지고 리더가 되었고 2기 더블오에 자기기체 엑시아에서 gn드라이브한짝 자신의 전쟁근절의 꿈을 꾸게만들어준 0건담의 gn드라이브한짝씩 달고 다시 싸우기시작했고 마지막엔 자신의 첫기체를타고 소년시절에 꿈을꾸게만들어준 0건담을 직접베어없앰으로써 성장했다는걸 보여주는 연출까지 내용도 좋고 완벽했다고봄

Yknow I realised something, Setsuna installed 0 Gundam’s Gn drive into exia repair 2, while ribbons installed Exia’s Gn drive into 0 Gundam. I can’t help but to think that setsuna uses the power (0 gundam’s Gn drive) that saved him as a child to sever with his past by destroying exia’s Gn drive. (Thereby growing and changing from how he was in season 1)

It is really a good plot to have Setsuna using Exia to defeat 0 gundam. Gundam Exia was the first real power he have to fight, while gundam 0 was the god to him(the past he must defeat) Though it would clearly be an easy win, Exia is a much more advanced model compared to 0.

Well since 0 gundam was the first generation so it’s getting quite normal to see an old model losing to the new one And part of myself wonder if Astraea can win against 0 gundam (I think it will since Astraea is gen 2)

The only other Gundam series I've finished so far is IBO, I was expecting something WAY MORE TRAGIC than how 00 ended, i's nice to see it end so peacefully and with so many happier endings 😢
