Played three Gundam VS games; was lucky enough to get a copy of the PS2 VS game, then my buddy imported the PS3 Extreme VS and we played it tons. Finally got the PSP Extreme versus import. Tons of fun and challenging games; I'm not even super familiar with the gundam series, but love the games

The only thing I find this game was lacking is the non existed online multi-player. Other than that, it's fun. I love Gundam.

hey BM, what series do you think is better (that is just on Vita), this or the Breaker series? I'll probably end up getting both at some point, but I'm wondering about which to get first. Keep in mind too that I'm new to these games for the most part. Thanx for the advice!

I wanna play this game so bad, but I hate the fact that it's digital only. All these digital only games on Vita have made me run out of space on my memory cards. I never intended to buy digital games for the Vita when I got it either. For now, I'll have to just play the Japanese copy I bought last week.

At least buy the digital version so Namco sees that they'll sell. You don't have to download it if you have the Japanese copy.

Such a shame its Ad hoc Multiplayer only but if purchasing it means encouraging more localised gundam games I'm all for it. I want to get people into gundam games but the barrier has always been the language and lack of menu translation. Battle operation/ next would have done really well localised.

Kinda weird my trophy won't activate on US EXVSF, maybe because i already played the JPN EXVSF version(have been activated before). its much easier to understand the requirements in mission since its translated. difference is main button is X rather than O(JPN/Asia ver)

Its still very good. I actually prefer this over Gundam Breaker 3 because it runs so damn well on the Vita and i love playing fighting games.

Love Gundam and this series. Hopefully this will help bring more Gundam games outside of Japan. Maxima, a question: With Breaker 3, is it worth to get B2 for ps3? And, I watched your B3 video but I'll ask anyway, is the Vita version worth it or should I go with ps4?

In my opinion, Breaker 2 isn't worth getting if you have 3. If you don't have 3, and can get 2 on the cheap, I can recommend getting it prior, but that's it. As for Gundam Breaker 3 on PS4 or Vita, there's no difference between the games, but they aren't cross play. The PS4 version has a larger online community so it's easier to find rooms and fill them up, but the Vita version has the upside of portability.

+MushaGundamMKIII I don't care about online but I do mind how it performs. How does it run on vita comparing to when it first launched? I'm hoping for stability and performance patches cause judging by Maxima's B3 video, it's kinda of a deal breaker to me even though I play Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 + on Vita.

+SaiyanFantasyX it runs perfectly fine unless you have a ton of explosions or beam spam going on at once. It rarely lags otherwise. But if you're playing through the game for completion you are gonna care about online, as some missions are extremely difficult alone.

Maxima's impressions on the Vita version made me doubtful about getting it for Vita and that's sad cause I rather play cross platform games on it plus the fact that B3 looks like a dream game for a handheld. From what I read the leaked image was proven fake. It's not looking good for a port of MB at this point regardless though. Also it kind of sucks if the themes are only for the first week since I can't get the game till this wednesday. But if I can't get them then it's not too big a loss I guess

If you like games like this one, try Gundam Extreme Vs Full Boost for the PS3, if you like customizing MS with lots of options, try any of the Gundam Breaker games

plus this version is way better then gundam 3 for the vita. Gundam 3 Vita has terrible frame rate issues. But the PS4 Gundam 3 is amazing. Defiantly go for this version for the vita!

It's a different game with a lack of online and customization, but it plays like a modified Gundam Vs Gundam game and it's still solid. The framerate's also been improved on Gundam Breaker 3 on the Vita with the new patch. It may be crap in your opinion, but it's Gundam Breaker 3 on the go.
