after YEARS I just realized the main body of the Hildolfr is the same as the Xamel and it makes sense since both are long range support MS. Xamel was probably made using spare parts or other designs from it. nice

It's not identical, only the cockpit is similar. It makes sense to use similar designs for similar types of mobile suits. The Hildolfr only had a single experimental unit made before Zeon decided the Mobile Tank concept was pointless, whereas the Xamel was intended as a mass-production artillery unit that they just didn't make enough of before the war ended. The exterior shape of the Hildolfr's cockpit is very similar to the Xamel's, but the appearance isn't identical, the Xamel's cockpit is a two-seater (a pilot and gunner), and the Xamel has a 30mm vulcan gun in the head that the Hildolfr lacks.

can't believe how amazing MS IGLOO was !!!! music was spot on. Sad that Gravity Front only got 3 episodes when Igloo got 6! Also the torso part of the Hildolfr reminds me of a Zamel. wonder if the designers of the show took inspiration from that MS from 0083!!!

Willy kun lol dont replace its thread with zaku leg XD. it turn him slow due its main cannon size and ist mutiple shell alone. his arm is for extra amunition if he encounter other MS weapon and terrain engineering with his shovel hand. its multy purpose already. let the Zaku gelogog or even dom cannon do the ms thingy since its humanoid part are not as strudy as tank mode if only Xamel learn from this guy we got AA / artillery speed devil MA

by far the best mobile suit battle in MS igloo, why? here's why: 1.HILDOLFR, nuff said 2.the pilot (don't remember his name sorry, pls don't kill me) got some disability and need medication periodicaly, failed the mobile suit pilot test, beat 4 zakus 3.this music is epic 4.the battle itself, the strategic manuver, the luck factor (or in this case unlucky, cause a hand of zaku got stuck on the wheel gear which crippled its mobility) it's the best
