I tried EVERYTHING to get the water out of my charging port, I used a q-tip to try and dry the water. Didn’t work. Blowing into the port. Didn’t work. Swung my phone in the air back and fourth like a crazy person. Now don’t be surprised when I say it didn’t work. I then searched “How to get water out of charging port.” I saw this video with a little hope that it would work, and surely it worked and I was so happy when the liquid detection hasn’t popped up. Tip: use a q-tip to clean the edges of your phone case and speakers. To trim the qtip for the speakers, just pull on one end until it tears a chunk off fluff off.

I drop my phone in the shower and bath often, and I usually just let it stand up and blast music waiting for it to fix itself. I’m so glad I came upon this because I did it again, and not only did it fix my audio, it improved it!
