Just bought this amazing camera after waiting 4 weeks for Gopro to respond to me to say why, as a subscriber, there was no discount for the Gopro Hero 11 black! So glad I bought this, together with a cheap DJI 2 year warranty which allows for 4 replacement cameras should mine fail completely & require replacing, DJI also pay for postage costs both ways 😊

7:23 the only way I can playback in the app is by turning on the airplane mode. Whenever I connect my camera to my phone, it disconnects my phone from my home WiFi. It’s as if the camera is acting as WiFi. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi congrats, very educational video. I have a question for you if you can advise me. I have the osmo action 1 and 4. I am using the cameras for hunting purpose and i am recording over 3 hours continuously. The action 1 separates the recording in clips of 6 minutes duration and the action 4 separates in 1 hour. Is any special setting for this because is hard to isolate the scene of 10 or 15 seconds in 1 hour clip and delete the rest. Please advise me sir. Thank you

I’ve had my Action 4 now for around 5 months and I still don’t understand what the best settings are lol !! There’s way too many to choose from, for example there isn’t just the 3 settings for the FOV as it changes when you turn Rocksteady on or off as well also I find the sound quality of the build in mic is actually better and easier than using the wireless mic 1 obviously the mic 2 will be better

when I transferred footage to edit them from the dji action 4 to my PC , when I play the video, it’s lagging and appears to be in slow motion. I’m not sure what the issue is-whether it’s a transfer problem, a compatibility issue with my PC, or something with the camera settings. Do you have any recommendations on how I could fix this? Is there an alternative method I should try for transferring files or playing the footage? I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions!

Got mine yesterday, it's nice but I just don't get why they did the mount the way they did. If I want to stick it on the side of a helmet I have to have this magnetic mount permanently sticking out of the helmet unless I unscrew it from the sticky base every time. Going to have to mount a gopro type mount on it first and then attach the DJI mount to that, which just makes the whole thing pointless. Thanks for the detailed tutorial, I feel like I actually understand all the settings now.

So I'm new to editing and stuff and want to use my DJI for snowboarding and skiing, now I'm planning on shooting the bulk in either 4k/60 or 4k/120, together with some cool slomo shot in 120 or 240fps slowed down... But what should I set my project at? 30 or 60fps? How do you film in 120fps and edit in lets say 30fps without slowing the footage down 4x?

your footage won't play slower unless you tell the editing software to play it slower. a 30fps timeline will just remove 50% of a 60fps clip's frames

Hola Simon. i have a confusion: I work files on FCP and I don't know if it's better to record on H264, the problem is that in the configuration of my Osmo action 4, in video configuration/compression/ just gives me the option of HEVC, option H264 appears in grey and I can't select it. thanks for your help
