The purpose of the Apple battery pack is not to charge the battery, it does what no other battery does. It communicates with the iPhone and charges the iPhone to a certain point, then the iPhone charges it and cycles like this to preserve the life of the iPhone's battery. It is not intended to be quick or to fully charge the iPhone

The Apple’s MagSafe battery pack is the best imo. Sure, it has lower capacity, but it’s relatively thin, has great widget support and optimised charging. Not to mention you only need 1 cable to charge both devices.

I purchased the apple iPhone MagSafe external battery. I respect your opinion and May I add that every point you brought up is correct. This is my perspective based on a couple weeks of use. Also I have used a mophie battery pack case on an older iPhone in the past for over 1 year. The Apple MagSafe external battery is made to optimize your iPhone battery and battery life.. The way to maximize battery life is to keep your iPhone batter between 80 to 90% and do not use it. This is exactly what the MagSafe battery does. The MagSafe battery keeps your phone battery always in the perfect charge state while depleting it’s power first. Then you can quick charge the MagSafe battery. I definitely agree with one point. There needs to be different sizes of Apple MagSafe batteries to fit each phone and have more power. I think the apple MagSafe is the only choice for MagSafe batteries. If not an Apple MagSafe battery then you might as well use the Moshi external battery. The Moshi has greater power, 40% better efficiency and will charge faster than MagSafe.

I went through 2 Shellrus screen protectors on my 12PM. I have a different case on my 13PM, it covers around the edges on the front of the screen. What broke the Shellrus was dropping specifically at work on road base gravel. Hopefully this new case will fix this problem. I ordered a Shellrus for my 13PM, one last time.

Broke mine twice too, although it's the same one broken two times. First time was dropping it on a carpeted train... with a Rhinoshield on it.... I wasn't happy. But in terms of scratches, it's completely untouched. Damn near unscratchable, but quite brittle. I'd still take it over anything else on the market though.

On the topic of the apple MagSafe battery, it actually has the highest mount of volts, decrease that to be the same or similar to its competitors, and the apple battery has a much higher capacity.

The MagSafe battery pack has software integration to not overcharge or overheat your phone. The purpose of the battery pack is not to charge to 100% as fast as possible, it’s to prolong your phone’s daily battery capacity as well as protect the health of both batteries.

Apple battery pack is slow because it’s saving your battery life. If you know anything about batteries, it’s generally not good to charge them as fast as possible. Trickle charge helps keep the batter going longer. Same with fully charged batteries. Not typically good to have battery fully charged every time you charge it.
