The beeping is your BATTERY, You need to replace it (Not recharge it, Replace it). Once per year.

I disagree with you. The yellow rear handle is not a brake! It NEUTRAL/ DRIVE. It’s beeping because you had it in Neutral! It works for you because you moved it to the Drive position! This switch is there because in case of a problem with the the scooter and it stops working, the scooter would be impossible to push because the transmission would be in DRIVE & therefore IMPOSSIBLE to push. SOLUTION : Slide yellow lever to the NEUTRAL position & push home or a safe place and charge batteries or have it serviced.

Thank you! I forgot I had taken the drive clutch off, which puts it in neutral to hand push it. It really is a nice warning to remind you the clutch is not engaged to be able to drive, unless, you forget you did it! Lol Blessings ❤️

It's NOT the brake, the lever disengages the motor so the scooter can be pushed about, or engaged so that the motors provide the movement of the scooter, IE neutral or engaged...

Hi there,I've got a problem with my S4 GT which all of a sudden is making a 2 beeps and pausing a few seconds and then 2 beeps again and so on,at the same time my reverse warning sound has stopped working,both of these things happened this morning at the exact same time? I've done the obvious checks, brake lever, reset switch for overloads etc. There is one other thing that has been going on for ages,even after I informed the engineer before the service,which is the digital battery power level is constantly showing 3 or 4 bars, even when I fully charge it,for some reason it still doesn't rise over 4 bars and stays at the same which means I have to guess when to charge it!! Unfortunately I live on the outskirts of a tiny waterfront village far up the NW coast of the Scottish Highlands,98 miles up past Inverness so my local engineer has a long drive to get here,sorry for the long message but is there anything you can think of that might be the problem? Thanks for any help you can give me,Phil

It's the "freewheel" position. It allows you to move the scooter with the drive disconnected. Trying to push a scooter with flat batteries and the drive engaged is almost impossible. Disconnect the drive and its easier to move around.

I do not want to purchase throttle body on the mobility scooter could you repair the throttle body or is it another solution to get the scooter to go the indicator green light shows 7 flashes so I know is the throttle. Could you come up with another solution

just leave the power lock in drive unless you want to push the scooter around unpowered, or use the lever to unlock the brake if you have an issue, like flat battery and you have tp push the scooter back to your car etc

Nope, only way to defeat it is to open up the handlebar/wig-wag lever and cut one of the wires to the little speaker.

It’s drive and neutral . Put in neutral to all ow you to manually push it .

Mine isnt the brake. It's my batteries I think. The lights say it's fully charged, it's just not coming on. It just does a gentle beep. So if I need new batteries I'm buggered. Got no money t obuy them.

Its not a back brake.. it's NEUTRAL..that's why it's beeping to alert you AND it wont start until you move the lever back to drive..
