OnePlus Pad 2 - After 7 Weeks

I rarely ever comment, negatively? But yeah, I did not understand how your review is 7 weeks in the title and you have used it for 4 weeks. Or for example you talk about what the pad needs to improve by mentioning things that are impossible to improve. What really got me was you saying that the pad is feature packed, it makes me believe that you only arrange good words to put them together for the video, but the pad is not feature packed. 1. Ecosystem - The note taking app should sync across all oneplus devices. I had my notes on the pad believing they would sync, just to realize one day that I needed my notes that my oneplus 12 did not have the notes I had taken on the oneplus pad 2. - The stylus only vibrates and the tap function only works within the oneplus app, so switching to a third party app is hard because the pen does not work well. - Sometimes I take a photo on the oneplus 12 and the pad has not gotten it yet. - The connection between devices sometimes goes off. 2. Productivity - The latest chip, yet no desktop mode. Open canvas is OK at best for multitasking when using the device, but sometimes everyone needs a desktop mode to get other things done, especially if you have the best chip and video out capabilities. - You cannot even use the notes app to sign documents, you cannot import pdfs, you cannot edit them, again third party note taking apps will not work. Try it yourself, your hand will input touches on the screen, it will be a mess. 3. Battery - I only use my pad for 1 hour of french classes via zoom plus homework, that already consumes 50% which is OK, but I just feel that at the same time that is a poor experience considering that on my phone I can go two days without charging and the pad feels like needs to be recharge everyday? 4. Updates - The north american version has yet not received a single update. Will it ever? - Did you receive the AI toolbox? (feature packed) - Is your pad not sucking all your messages and your messages never reach your oneplus phone? - Is your pad being recognized by the red cable club? Can you see the warranty? There is only so much more I can say, but what I where I can summarize it all is please avoid becoming that reviewer who speaks too fast, records too fast, only for the sake of views but without anything real to say.

It's a 4 week review but title is 7 weeks because it's been 7 weeks since the tablet launched. However, i'm clear about how long I've used it in the video. Your concerns are very valid. However, you seem to be one of the few very heavy users of a tablet. Most people, that are going to be buying this tablet wouldn't be using it to an extent you do to face the problems you do. As a reviewer, I have the option of being very technical and intricate or being more practical depending on the product and the audience that's going to be purchasing it. For you, I definitely feel you should have gone for an apple iPad. It's the only true tablet that can cater to the needs you have and the issues you face. In the case of pad2, honestly, majority will be picking this up for browsing, entertainment purposes. And hence the focus was more on the media front and not the productivity front. I also emphasize the same in the end.

One thine mobiscrub will not tell that stylo 2 of this tab is worst stylus i have ever seen ,when i purchased this its stylo 2 has much latecy in 3rd party drawing and notes as compared to xiaomi and samsung, and after a month stylo 2 died the same thing also happend with my friends 😢

S9 plus tab is the way to go compared to 1+ tab2.. Included Spen, Oled display, expandable storage, IP68 rating, Samsung Dex, Samsung's One UI, overclocked chipset with better benchmark score... Still almost same price as OnePlus pad 2 with OnePlus stylo 2 in Flipkart BBD sale...

I had the oneplus pad 1 but i had to switch because of the 128gb and no upgrade storage then i got the samsung s9 256gb for 400 swiss francs as the oneplus pad 2 was 550 swiss francs

@@gamingdarpan5612 Ipad 9th gen is yet good but it has come to end of life and apple pencil for it is not available so 3rd party pencil needs to be used,. Gyaan therapy youtuber also mentioned the same. Only problem with one plus is the palm rejection issues and hence is not good for any artistic work. Hence go for samsung for note taking or artistic work and one plus for gaming and content consumption.

i doubt it. If they didn't bother to give it right away, then they wouldn't do it later either. Can't depend on it. Honestly, it doesn't matter all that much. The screen is still quite nice and you'll still enjoy content. But if you are too particular about HDR playback, then yes, it will not support.

Not good. Has palm rejection issues. Other youtubers have mentioned the same. For digital art go for the samaung tab s9 fe/s9 fe+.
