Thanks for continuing to tune in all! This episode isn't merely to show the differences in tones between the full and half power, but to show how a 1/2 power can perform with a 412 cabinet. For those that desire a smaller rig to play out of, the 1/2 power series is a really great option to save on volume and your back. And the sound guy yelling at you to turn down.

Ken had worked on my '81 JCM800 way back before he was doing Trainwrecks full-time. He built his amps like Stradivarius violins. He was an amazing guy with a gift for creating inspiring tones!

Man ...love your Channel...I have a TW express clone, and love the tone....I don't think I'm running mine loud enough! That's the best strat tone I ever heard...I'm all about straight into the amp as well.

They have the same tone, but the full power you can hear the extra head room. The half ppwer a little more compression.

I prefer the sound of the full power versions. The half power amps sound great but there's some meat lacking. They probably will sound better in a 1x12 cabinet.

Definitly noticable. But with a 12" in an open back cab or two lower rated 10's very nice.

I dont want to try to speend i What it costs to get a Trainwrek, I just need to find a good clone that comes with just as quality parts. Just the internal placement of everything. Lovely indeed.
