Michael Houser was the greatest thing that ever happened to me musically. The first time I heard Take Out, Porch, then Holden Oversoul on cassette in 90-91ish that lingering lead grabbed me and has yet to let go

Gah… that interview with Todd & Mikey. Both had such a uniquely recognizable style of playing their respective instruments and Panic just doesn’t sound the same without them.

I like the fact that they don't the sound the same without them. Sort of adds to their legacy doesn't it? Mikey and Todd are irreplaceable so a way to pay homage to them and their contributions would be to steer away from THAT sound. That was theirs. Now we have Jimmy and Duane. I personally love the new sound, I still miss the old sound, but who doesn't?
