Mobot Flexi: Foldable Mobility Scooter Review

MOBOT Flexi is a foldable, lightwight and compact eWheeler that is popular among elderly or the disable for safe commuting. It is stable due to the use of 3 wheels and the overall height is being kept low for the passenger’s centre of gravity.

The base panel is ergonomically design for the whole body to be keep proportionate, for leg rest and long commuting. Due to its flexibility, it is useful when travel into a jammed packed MRT, market, coffee shop and you can even fold it and store it in the car boot when taking a car.

Why would you show the scooter being used with the handle extended out front?? Other videos for the same scooter say that bar is the pull bar to be used when the scooter is folded and pulling it while walking. They say to be sure it is NOT extended because it will impede your driving. Obviously, you'd bump into everything. Weird you didn't know that.

Hi, the front guard has more than 1 purpose. Firstly. it is used as a handlebar for pulling the FLEXI. Secondly, it constrains the turning radius of the wheel. Thus a person would not be able to do a sharp turn thus improving safety. Finally, it acts as a front guard for the front wheel which is also the motor. It protects the motor from direct impact. Therefore when the FLEXI is used by an elderly, we would recommend to front guard to be left extended during usage.
