I wish you'd do cemetery tour of all the famous blues musicians in Chicago. Muddy Waters, Lonnie Brooks, etc.. there's dozens of them. Many in the same cemetery.

This place was where my mother would take us literally every Sunday to visit my grandparents and aunts and uncles graves which interestingly are right behind Giancana’s mausoleum. I did this exact tour not too long ago and got everyone that you featured plus the Spilotro brothers (buried at Queen of Heaven cemetery) and Tony Accardo (entombed at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum) I just purchased a niche there last year so that I will be in the same cemetery as my mother who is by the Christ the King crypt section. I highly recommend visiting the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. To describe it as stunning and breathtaking is to diminish the description. It is like no other place. It is the largest Catholic mausoleum in the world, made up of marble and stained glass. The chapel is exquisite. There are actually some videos on KZbin showcasing it. Back to Mount Carmel, check out the grave of the Italian bride which is at the opposite entrance in the back. Very interesting story. Her last name was Buccola. Also check out the area where the Archdiocese of Chicago Cardinals are buried.

I have numerous family members interred at Mt. Carmel and while the thought of driving down Roosevelt Road at night scares the heck out of me, the history of both cemeteries (Queen of Heaven as well) is so interesting! We always had to drive by the Giancana mausoleum to get to our family's graves!

Also at Mount Carmel (my family is buried there): Frank May, the mechanic who had the misfortune of being gunned down with the gangsters at the St. Valentine’s Massacre. At the family’s request, Frank has no headstone, but his wife’s stone is present next to his “stoneless” grave site; “Tony The Scourge” Lombardo, Al Capone’s consigliere; also, you’ll frequently see a live .45calibre round sitting on Machine Gun Jack McGurn’s (Vincenzo Gibaldi) gravestone; Vincent Drucci’s mausoleum (marked with his actual name of Ludovico D’’Ambrosio); the mausoleum of Roger Touhy an Irish mob boss who was famously framed by Capone for a faked kidnapping of an heir to the Max Factor Cosmetics company. Touhy served 26 years in prison and was then murdered less than a month after his November 1959 release. (He really pissed off someone!); Paul “The Waiter” Ricca served as the de facto leader of the Outfit for a period of time. Ricca’s claim to fame and the reason for his meteoric rise in the Outfit was that he was out with Capone, realized a hit was heading for the group that included Capone, warned Capone to get down, saving his life. There are many many more in Mount Carmel, not to mention the dozens who are directly across the street at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, including Anthony “the ant” Spilotro (played by Joe Pesci in the movie Casino); his brother Michael Spilotro; Outfit boss Joey “Doves” Aiuppa, “Mad Sam” De Stefano; Tony Accardo; Sam Battaglia from the infamous Casa Madrid in Melrose Park. When our friends come to town, many want to do the gangster tour of Mount Carmel and Queen of Heaven. Oh, and don’t forget a low level bootlegger ingredient supplier, Paul Boccia, from Melrose Park. His building that had a system of tunnels still stands at 12th and Division in Melrose Park with his name in stone on the facade, along with the year, 1925. He was my great, great grandfather.
