I heard this song when I was in a car as a young kid. I felt it then but couldn’t figure out what it was called. All I knew is it was Moby. Now I’m 33 and figured it out. Something about this song is so nostalgic and makes me a little happy and a little sad. Life flys by and it’s weird how music still feels the same so many years later.

I just hope that so many than possible have good day today or tomorrow. Time adds silver to everyone's memories and being children could be so sweet time and if not, it usually shows from people the way or another. Speaking in honest and sweet could be hard, not impossible. If you don't handle it, start to practising now.. If not for other people, do it just for yourself. Because good things come back to you, sometimes when you think it least. Everyone knows that without positive thinking there's no very much speaking at all. (Maybe there is if you speak just about science and facts, but who does that _only_? Even Einstein was positive guy and told how we could and will destroy world and more than one way, if I remember correctly..)

I had just went to the Navy at that time and was 18... Always moving, always traveling, and always surfing new areas back then. It really does hit you when have to abruptly break ties with all of the locals you've made friends with as well as the girlfriends you've dated... All to start over as just another outsider in a new place! It wears you down each move you make and it never gets easier when you're uprooted against your will; however, we always persist and find the best in new areas. Still, it takes a piece of you every time and when you get to a new area, you begin to feel the patterns repeating with new friends as your relatively recent past memories come back with new faces... It's a hard thing being single and traveling without something physical such as another person to bring with you to remember what is as you always remember the best of what was... Then again, you wouldn't want a girlfriend or wife to feel the pain through the joy.

I would hear this song while my mom would drive my sisters and i around in the evening often. The way it brings me back is such an indescribable feeling. For 20 years it was always with me clear as day, but I didn’t know what it was called- the best I could remember was it being part of a Ceasar’s Palace radio commercial and I don’t even know if it was in one. Hearing it one night at work was such a revelation to me, like I had been reunited with a long-lost friend that used to comfort me.

This is goodbye Hey, hey, hey, woman, it's alright Hey, hey, hey, woman, it's alright Tell the truth, you've never wanted me Tell me In my dreams I'm jealous all the time When I wake I'm going out of my mind Going out of my mind Hey, hey, hey, woman, it's alright Hey, hey, hey, woman, it's alright Hey, hey, hey, woman, it's alright Hey, hey, hey, woman, it's alright

Heard it played on MTV when I was a kid. I remembered standing in front of tv holding my mug bc I was about to get some water when it started playing--I couldn't take my eyes off of it, like deer in the headlights, and oddly thinking, "Finally a song about me". The song and its memory stayed ever since. Many years later I was diagnosed with bipolar & maybe that's the reason the kid me can relate to it back then.

Over the years, during my childhood, I listenned to this song randomly in the radio a few times and I would get overwhelmed with nostalgia and sadness, but I never told anyone. One day when I was 14 I asked my mom if she knew the name of this song and told her how it made me feel. She was really emotional and surprised and told me this was the song she heard on repeat when she and my dad divorced. This happened when I was 3 years old! I have no conscious memory of their divorce, only emotional memory it seems 😢 this music is so powerful! ❤️
