I think it also played at the right time. The season is probably going to be divisive when it ends, but if you ask me? The vibes are immaculate. And I'm speaking as someone from the tropics. I don't exactly relate on a personal level with the icy setting. I'm loving every frame so far.

It's an honor for me to write you, Moby, although you may never see this comment. I´ve been listening your songs since I was a child. I don´t know how you can create those beautiful songs, with them I can yearn for the past, I remember with hope. Your music has something very special that I can´t describe. I only know that it reminds me of loved ones, special moments of my life, and I think that all this has helped me to be a better person. Thank you Moby.

Don't be discouraged or sad for a too long time, stranger-friend. It is always darkest (on the surface) before the Sun comes up at the dawn, before the Light starts shining through the cracks of the old world, bringing the dark up to the Collective Attention, so that more and more people are starting to see the dysfunctionalities of the old, so that people can make the conscious decision to step in to the Light, into a dawning Golden Age. Humanity is starting to wake up! Peace!

A potion like madness and season Bracing all like a breaking of reason But every night lost and every day torn The drama feeling calmer, it's a calmer in the storm Speakers are crying like a forest in the rain I was so alone with my thoughts and my pain And the darkness closed like a mouth on a [?] I'll never be free Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way I can't stand on my own anymore I can't stand in the stain of the broken and poor I can't break what I held and it never was true In the mirror what I said was I lied to you And me and everything I see and everything I could Tried so hard to be good For myself, for you, for the hidden and divine For everything but I can fail just so many times Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way I can't stop when I feel like stopping At 5 A.M. just cry [?] A perfect life was enough for you And ever enough to see me through For all my lies that were spoken and ways And the way we lived as an affront to the days Was an affront to the things that we cared about Was an affront to everything that we cared about Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way

Lyrics A portion like madness in season Bracing all like a breaking of reason With every night lost and every day torn With the drama feeling calmer and it's calmer in the storm Speakers are crying like a forrest in the rain I was so alone with my thoughts and my pain And the darkness closed like a mouth on a wild night I'll never be free Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way I can't stand on my own anymore I can't stand in the stain of the broken and poor I can't break what I held and it never was true In the mirror what I said was I lied to you And me and everything I see and everything I could Tried so hard to be good For myself, for you, for the hidden and divine For everything but I can fail just so many times Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way I can't stop when I feel like stopping At five A.M. just cry, shoot, copping The perfect life was enough for you And ever enough to see me through For all the lies that were spoken in waves And the way we lived as an affront to the days Was an affront to the things that we cared about Was an affront to everything that we cared about Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way, oh Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way (light my way) Light my way (light my way) Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way (out of the darkness) Ooh, in this darkness Please light my way Light my way (light my way)

This is beautiful. I thank Moby so much for allowing us a glimpse into his soul. There are times when I feel like I must be insane -- because I can't shake the visual in my mind of our society slowly succumbing to overpopulation, environmental destruction, and mass exploitation. I tear up in public, thinking about how close we are to darkness, and feel like some kind of alien for thinking these things while the people around me are carrying on with their daily existence in a relatively apathetic state. The Little Idiot videos, and the overall thematic commentary provided by so many of Moby's songs, make me feel like I'm not so alone. This life may often be a bitter and desperate battle for those who sincerely care for all, for the bigger picture, but it does not have to be a solitary one. I hope I can meet others who feel the same way some day.

I totally can relate to what you wrote. It's a time where being awake to the state of the world almost hurts because we can all see where this ends. I think for me it was 2016 with the destruction of the Great Barrier Reef by about 60% (since then it's been hammered over and over and, for a number of reasons, is dying) that I realized how serious things have become for all life on Earth, not just ours as humans on land. But no matter how dark it gets, believe me when I say to you that you are not alone. Many live quiet lives very awake to it all, just living day to day, but do try to take comfort in the fact that many people care deeply. And that caring about each other and about nature is a key part of what makes us truly human, so never forsake those feelings. Instead, cherish them.

I have always liked Moby. Feels good to listen to him. His music pin points all my emotions. Anyone out there living with a mother, father, sibling, aunt, uncle, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend that are chronically abusive...get away from them. Seek a mission, shelter, church. Seek out someone to help you find a stable healthy place. Don't allow them to hurt you. Emotionally, physically, verbally. It's not worth it. You will end up like myself 33yrs old with health going down hill. As of tomorrow the abuse I endure from my mother will be no more.
