I know there's a dog in this video, but this song came out just before my dog died and I remember hearing it on the radio on the day she took her second heart attack from hearing fireworks outside due to Halloween season. She passed away in my arms. I think of her every time i hear this song. I wish people would consider how much fireworks frighten animals.

First listened to this song as a 13 yr old kid with no understanding of the world around me. My dog Mojo, who I raised from a puppy and was my companion in life, my best friend, started having seizures at age 6. I took him to several vets who said he may have epilepsy, but his conditioned worsened and we had a cat scan done. I received the heartbreaking news that he had a large brain tumor and severe swelling and he would not be able to be saved. I played this song so loud it blew my speakers and cried like I have never cried before in my life.

Moby has helped me through depression in so many ways. he builds his songs to a crescendo that you are right up there, then, he can drop it down a bit, leaving a form of question mark at the end, telling the listener, "think....now, DO"....his music is dark, yet it reaches the soul in its orchestration....oh, wow....I've been listening to him for years, way before "Play"...he's so emotional in his composition...
