I think my favorite was the springy boards at 1:40. But the rotating lift at 1:50 was unexpected and also really nice. Overall it was a really good use of lifting and funneling mechanisms.

Wow Lots of nice ideas in here! If I had to pick one, the two conveyors/trays starting at 1:15 And the big spinning wheel. What framerate was this at, the movement of the rapidly spinning wheel was captured very well.

You were right! I do like this video. Question... Did you, at some point, spawn a new set of marbles? At 01:15, the top elevator panel has about 8 marbles on it, that go past the camera. At 01:28 we start following the second batch of marbles, a much larger batch. When we get to that first drop, most of the first set of marbles are "stuck", so I'm guessing the camera caught up to most of it. But then, when we get to that spiral, or the whirlwind tube thing after that, there's suddenly loads of marbles ahead of the camera. Where did those come from?

Glad you like it :) very observant! If I don’t add those balls, the spiral is really slow and boring, takes like 2 minutes just for the balls to get from top to bottom, so have some balls that pre-fill it so that the camera can show it quickly and move onto the bucket. Makes the title a slight lie, as 2025 is the exact number in the hopper, without this other batch

i tried doing a fluid simulation where the fluid drops like in the elevator scene of the shining but its hard to connect liquid domains,do you have a tutorial for this,ik the marble simulation works on collision not liquid domain but i was wondering if you have something like this with fluids,marble simulation is really cool

You can’t have multiple fluid domains! They might enable this in FLIP Fluids 2.0 but even then, they might be distinct fluid simulations not a connected area. You just need 1 huge domain, but that makes the simulation slower unfortunately
