I have NOT been a fan of Mocha until a few months ago. but i've experienced first hand, that Mocha is a fast thinker, fast talker & also fast to acknowledge her faults. i used to dislike her because of what she was (in the showbiz area) because i am a prude, to be honest. still, Mocha's honest to goodness support of President Duterte, and her sincere love for the less fortunate of our country, without any personal agenda or interest, made me like her. Mocha's visiting and talking to those OFW's in the hospitals in the Middle East, those who were admitted because of physical abuse from their employers, that kind of concern is difficult to fake. you cannot pretend you love these people because it will show in your eyes, and your interaction. she is genuine. i only hope she continues to be blessed with good health & wisdom in all decision making she will have to do in the next few days.

Mocha is the daughter of a judge (whom I think she takes after) and a doctor. Combine those two traits, plus the fact that she went to medical school, and there's NO WAY she's dumb. She may seem like it to her critics, but they always ONLY base it on her poor choices in life years ago, which seems very unforgiving to some. They make it sound like whoever took the wrong path in life should stay there or go back to their old ways instead of making their lives better. What those who judge her fail to see is that even Jesus Christ forgave Mary Magdalene and other sinners, like us, their sins. Jesus hung out with sinners, not the perfect ones. Yet Mocha's critics always want to bring her down, to point out her past mistakes, even telling her to go back to do those mistakes. We should all remember what Jesus said in Matthew 7:3-5, “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." Imagine if God's as judgemental as everyone of us who commit shameful sins or pasts like Mocha's critics point out about her. Then we'd always live in shame and unforgiveness knowing that we can never go past those mistakes. But God is good because He is a forgiving God, and only by His grace that we are all saved. What I like about Mocha is that she acknowledges her past mistakes, and is trying to better her life. She's investing her life into helping people, esp. the OFWs, the best way she can. I applaud her for that. I think she's making better life choices than any of her critics are doing.
