My bedtime stories were from writers like Tolstoy, Poe and Dostoyevsky, so it wasn't from lack of capacity, I assure ye' dear reader who has stuck around for more than the first sentence. As an American, that was part of my British cultural studies I do off this show. I had to look it up. It's just what we Americans call a Whopper, which is confusing because a Burger King burger is also called a Whopper - capital "W", and a large fish or a big lie (often about big fish) are also called whoppers - small "w".
