To be fair, the Defuse Instructions Manual, can be quite complex for first timers as we could see the Fuwawa poorly performance in the role. Lots of laughs either way 😂

The fact that the instructions change based on the amount of failed attempts really fucks up people just starting

I would also be inclined to put some of it on Mococo's failure to adapt her thinking, ex. describing the colors of all wires in a set at once, over the course of multiple bombs, even after Fuwawa's questioning (more than one blue wire?) should have indicated that the manual is essentially a flowchart of possible solutions, and it would have been better, "at least" the first few times, to just say, "we have wires" and let Fuwawa work down the flowchart to the answer (due to need for sleep, I left before it was obvious if she ever stopped doing that).

That’s more likely it than not. Mococo’s impatience made Fuwawa’s job significantly harder. In the manual it has a series of “If this, then x, if not then y,” type questions that need to be answered sequentially, and Mococo wasn’t giving Fuwawa the chance to ask the questions.

I have yet to see a single streamer/v-tuber get to the part of the "Needy" modules. I'd love to see that, because when you think you are confortable with the game, then it cames these modules that require constant attention, then your stress goes to the roof. But usually people stop playing it when they get to the Morse Code and Complicated wires.

Keep talking and nobody explodes is so interesting to see between people who are very close to each other because it's a game that intentionally breaks apart communication that you'd normally take for granted. The fact that both have to work with incomplete information forces them to be very clear in what they want to get across, so none of the usual shorthands and conveniences built between the two work.

​@SethAbercromby In the full stream, you really see it with Maze. Moco was always describing where things were by saying things like "centre right" or "near the top", which probably works for them when they can both see what's going on. Game don't work like that though.
