At 10:19, in the case when the population is not normal, the standard deviation (sigma) is not known, and n>=30, how can one calculate z-statistic (z = x-mu/sigma with sigma unknown)? should this be t-statistic instead?

All this applies only when samples are not biased....all machinery of interval estimation shall fail...no matter u build CI for 95% or 99% all is meaningless
